Applet client to EJB tier

Hi
Can Applet connect to EJB tier using SSL?. If yes then what setting I need to do in Container?.

Not using SSL, no. Applets use RMI. It's not such an issue, however, since RMI can't be done through most firewalls. It's better to have a servlet or JSP invoke the EJB and have the applet talk to the servlet through HTTP tunneling. A little more work, but it works more.
You CAN do HTTP tunning through SSL, BTW as long you your server is set up with an https channel.
