problem in accessing applets from network neighborhood  RSS feed

hi all,
iam having an applet where iam using an object tag for the applet.iam reading a file and displaying the contents in the applet.when iam accessing the applet from network i.e when my applet is present in another computer(server) which is in the network and if iam trying to access the computer(server)through network neighborhood iam getting an error something like
java.io.filepermission error is occuring.
Is it not possible to access the applet from the network???
can somebody help

Hi Ravi,
Yes, it is not possible to access an applet over network unless the applet is signed. It is the default protection inherits from Applet.
