hi folks!
im developing a web based chat server in which an applet is downloaded on client side n then public chat is started. For provate chat user clicks on a chatter in the list n a new frame is opened for private chat. Now the problem is when frame is opened a warning message is continuously appearing at the bottom of the frame meaning untrusted frame. how to remove that warning or any alternative technique to creating a frame for private chat?
bye

Every window opened by applet has such warning. That is for security reasons to avoid appplets faking local applications. You can disable it by setting certain (I don't remember exactly) properties in policy file (at least for Sun Java Plugin).

Hi Reehan,
The warning message will disappear when you sign your applet.
Regards,
Manfred.
