Hi, good day I'm working on a signed Applet and recently found the following error, when using netscape 4.7 originally I was asked if I trusted the signed applet, now the applet just loads and the java console has the following message:
# Error: The security library has experienced a database error.
You will probably be unable to connect to this site securely. (-8174)
#jar file: C:\TEMP\jzipCVGQ.TMP
#path: C:\TEMP\jzipCVGQ.TMP
# Error: loading of signatures has failed (-1)
#jar file: C:\TEMP\jzipCVGQ.TMP
#path: /agenciareforma/sftp/
Obviously the applet can't go outside the sandbox because the user never trusted the applet signature, I've tried clearing the cache of the browser but that doesn't seem to work.
Hope someone can help me..
Thanks

Hi Jose,
Have you tried going to tools->Security Info and removing the certificate so that if gets reloaded?
Regards,
Manfred.

Thanks, I've already done that, but the results are the same, maybe something's wrong with the netscape security databases, anyone knows how to reset them to their original values?
