Hi all,
I used the OBJECT tag to work with IE and works fine for the following code:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93"
WIDTH = 200 HEIGHT = 30 ID="EgApplet" codebase="http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/jinstall-13-win32.cab#Version=1,3,0,0">
<PARAM NAME = CODE VALUE = com.dts.Sample.class >
<PARAM NAME = cache_option VALUE = Plugin >
<PARAM NAME = cache_archive VALUE="bin/Client.jar">
<PARAM NAME = cache_version VALUE="">
<PARAM NAME = "scriptable" VALUE = "true" >
<PARAM NAME="type" VALUE="application/x-java-applet;version=1.3">
Using the "ID" attribute i called the applet's method from JavaScript in IE.
But in Netscape how can i do it??
I have my EMBED tag like this:
<EMBED type="application/x-java-applet;version=1.3"
java_CODE = com.dts.EgApplet.class
WIDTH = 200 HEIGHT = 30
Do i have to add any more Attributes like "ID" for OBJECT tag or what can i do to make call from javascript to applet using Netscape??
Thanks in advance..
