Hi all,
I went throught a lot of pain before i find out that i have to install windows performance pack of JMF to make my applet running. JMF of cross platform version will not work on windows to play mpeg video. If a client's browser does not have JMF, even i include archive for jmf.jar and etc in my applet tag in a html page, client browser still cannot view the movie in the applet. Whats more, if i host this applet on a Linux server, let say apache server, it is more troublesome. Is jmf so flaky? How can i perform on server side to facilitate the process of playing video on client side? We can assume that client has jvm installed on the system. Can someone give me some feedback? Or if you have overcome the similar situation, i appreciate very much if i can share your experience.
Thanks.
