Has anyone out there ever been able to successfully run a Swing applet that uses LiveConnect (to updae the javascript) on an XP machine with IE6?
If you have, I would appreciate information on how your machine is configured, with regard to:
1. version of Java plug-in begin used
2. Internet Options settings in IE6
3. the HTML tag being used to identify the applet
4. archives (jars) being used
5. any Microsoft JVM downloaded on the machine?
Right now, the browser can't find the class file. However, the IE browser on an NT machine can find it, as can a Netscape browser on the same NT machine. (What's with XP?)

Hi Louise,
Useless for your configuration questions, but I thought maybe these threads
might start to address the "What's with XP?" question.
