I have a jsp page
there is an applet in this page ...
when this applet 'POSTS' to the here.jsp page,
i want the jsp page to get redirected to another page ..
such as there.jsp
1. i use request.getParameter() from applet post, and that works, but the response.sendRedirect() does not take me to another page ...I get a PropertyPermission access error in java console
2. Then i tried using javascript .. so that when the jsp receives post request, it calls the jscript method .. window.parent.location= () .. which normally should redirect to another page ..
surprisingly this works when i post from an html form page, but not when i post from applet ... even though its the same javascript and the value posted by the applet is correctly read.
please can someone help me with this
