Are you trying to develop a solution where the clipboard contents would need to be available to applications outside of the Applet?

Hello ,
what I am looking is ctrl+v should work. I mean when i copy some thing from notepad and say ctrl+v on my applet textArea then the content should be pasted.
I found the below link but it throws exception when I tested it.
http://www.eli.sdsu.edu/courses/fall98/cs596/notes/appletExamples/textCutPaste/

Please tell me how can I do it
thanks in advance

If the user presses Ctrl-C or Ctrl-V, copying and pasting should work without your coding for it.
