hi,
iam doing a Login Screen.
i doing it with JApplet.i am using j2sdk1.4.1_01.
i have written the code and tested with an html file.its running successfully in my system.
Now i place the .class file and html file in apache-tomcat server where our intranet is running.
i put under a folder called testme.
now iam accessing the swing applet from the browser by typing the url
http://intranet.ourcompany.com/test/common/testme/Login.html.
its running well in my system.if the same applet is accessed from other system(the SWING APPLET) is not loading.its saying Login Class not loaded.
Its giving a different error in when this applet is accessed in Linux Systems using KDE Konqueror(the Error is JAVA CLASS NOT LOADED(JAVA INTERPRETER DISABLED).
i tried with the following code using html converter
******************
Code
******************
OBJECT classid="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93" width="900" height="575" codebase="http://javaweb.eng/plugin/jre-1_2_2-win.exe#Version=1,2,0,0">
<PARAM NAME="code" VALUE="Login.class">
<COMMENT><EMBED width="900" height="575" code="Login.class" pluginspage="http://javaweb.eng/plugin/plugin-install.html">
<NOEMBED></COMMENT>
No JDK 1.2 support for APPLET!!
</NOEMBED>
</EMBED>
</OBJECT>
if i use the above solution the applet is loading into IE.but the background i set for the applet is not coming.In Linux GUI ie KDE its still not working.
what shall be the reason for this problem???Is there any permanent solution.shall i put any jar file??
help me please...
regards
