Hi.
Some client W2000 seem not to be able to run applets (in j2sdk1.4.0_02).
In W98 we did the following :
ControlPanel -> InternetPlug-ins -> Advanced ->
-> java (sun)
check "use java2 v1.4.0_01 for <applet> "
-> MicrosoftVM
check/uncheck these options :
uncheck "java console enabled"
check "java logging enabled"
ceck "JIT compiler for VM enabled"
Seems not to work for some W2000 machines, even after removing old jvm and installing new j2re. I hope I do not have to install the whole j2sdk1.4 on client machine !

Which plug-in are you using? I haven't run into any problems running applets using plug-ins in any W2K machines.
