I've just spent a good chunk of time scouring JavaRanch and Netscape.com looking for a reference as to where I can find the package that contains JSObject and JSException. I have Netscape 7 on my computer and I've looked through all of the jar files included and there's no sign of a class file within them. I've seen some posts on the Ranch that refer to a file named java40.jar, but that file did not come with my Netscape installation.
Where can I find this package?
Thanks,
Corey

I see the API Spec there, Cindy, but I still can't find a place to actually get the class files (or a jar file that contains them).

OK, so I managed to find the files (after a day and a half of searching). They're now a part of the standard JRE - they can be found within the jar file jaws.jar. I never did actually find any documentation that talks about it, but I happened to open up that file in WinZip and spotted the files in there.

Maulin,
I am running Netscape 7.0 and do not have that jar file (I've done the search on my hard drive). Apparently, those classes have been moved to a different jar file (they're now distributed with the JRE). Look at my post above to see where I found them.
