hi all,
i'm having an applet that has HTMLEditorKit. i'm using jre1.4.1 (i forgot now, if its _01 or _02..)
but i'm facing a problem-
i have a hyperlink which open the new html page (using javascript window.open) that has my applet. now,
1. when i open for the first time it works fine. 2. then i close the window containing the applet. 3. then i again click on the hyperlink that pop ups the page with my applet but this time my HTMLEditKit's JPane doesn't respond to keyboard anymore. i can't type in that area.
this works IF i clear the classloader's cache in Sun Java Console via 'x' option you know BEFORE i reopen the page with applet in step 3.
this happens in IE and Netscape both.
do anybody have an idea?
moderator please feel free to put this in the Swing forum if u think it can be better answered there...
there might be some reasons but i'm unable to look into the applet in details (the rendering of applet components and etc u know) as my friend is working on it right now...
