Java console error message

Im wondrin why the ie java console produce this error:
java.io.IOException: bad path: C:\eTextRaffle\Applet\java\util\HashSet.class
... in appletviewer it has no problem at all... please help me. I appreciate your help . Thanks.

Again... I tried all my best to run this applet...
I done all the following
- I edit the regedit just to make the same the JVM there and the version I compiled my applet since I read that the version of compilation of applet and the version of browser must be same.
- I compiled with -version option
- I set already the classpath
But still my applet doesnt run... My applet just called hashset and two userdefined classes. Thanks.
