Hello All,
Can anyone help me with writing a file using a applet. I have this applet and file in the local disk and i am accessing it locally only though a IE browser.
if it is possilbe, kindly request you to tell me all the steps in doing it.

You need to use a "signed" applet, so that the applet can be granted permission to access files on the local disk. The process differs depending on whether you're using MS's own JVM with IE, or the Java Plug-in, or something else.
