Hi again! I'm using the JAva Plug-in to run my applets but I'd like to specify somehow that this is the only VM you can use. Maybe someone that runs the app will have Microsoft's VM so the program crashes can I identify wich VM is running to show an error page?
Maybe this is done with a javascript.
Thanks!

If you sign the applet you can access properties. Then you can read vendor and java version.
This peace of code prints out all available props.
Properties p = System.getProperties();
Enumeration en = p.keys();
while (en.hasMoreElements()) {
String kys = "" + en.nextElement();
System.out.println(" * " + kys + " - " + p.getProperty(kys));
}

Thanks, I've discovered that Microsoft is not distributing their VM anymore so that won't be a problem.
