Can anyone explain about the type of import statements to be used for importing enums from another package.
1.When enum is outer class in one package and imported.
2.When enum is a member of a class in one package and imported.

I am having my SCJP exam tomorrow, and explanations will be helpful

Hi, I just saw ur ques..hope till the time u will read this reply, u have given ur exam..so hope u have done well..
Here is the answers of ur questions...

When enum is declared inside the class in the same package, it needs to be imported explictly but if the enum is outside the class declaration, it does not need to be imported..its automatically available to ur class if it is in the same package...

Hope it helps,
