Getting images drawn in java to roam around the applet box

i would like to know how i can get an image drawn with java using polygons and lines etc to roam around an applet box without any user intervention.
if anyone can help, it wuld be greatly appreciated.

download the linkbrowser applet/src from http://touchgraph.sourceforge.net/index.html
it does just that. you should be able to figure it out from looking at the code.
basically, you have to draw the graphics by hand on the canvas and to make them move around you have to change the x,y coordinates each time to make them look like they aremoving.
