How do you make sure an applet has stopped running when you click on a link to another page? I ask this as when I click on a link in a frame which has an applet in it. Then navigate back by clicking a back button in the same frame. A accessControl error occurs, due to the applet still running. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Have you got a public void destroy(){} in your applet, called by your exitProgram method?
That seems to work when I use the Back button in my browser (I don't seem to have to click on the applet Exit button before I use the Back button either) - well, I haven't had any errors doing that!
Hope that helps.
All the best,
Kate!!
