Hi
Im very new to JAVA, and having a problem with my program. Could anyone please help explaining me my problems.
1. Im having a problem with showStatus() when trying to call it from init()or paint(), it doesn't display anything beside " Applet Start", my class is extended from JApplet. When call it from actionPerformed it works just fine. Why?
2. The GUI of my program doesn't display properly unless I call super.paint(). What's the superclass paint does in helping the applet to set up GUI?
Please forgive me for my poor english. I've searched this forum and others but have not yet found a clear answer for it. Your help will be appreciated.
