I have a standalone application which draw a uml class from xml file. I am converting this application to a applet. The original application is written in java using JGraphFrame and other swing components. I just put everything originally in the constructor in init() function in Applet. and the new class extends JApplet. The compilation is fine. but when I use appletviewer to look at the applet, the appletviewer just exit. When I use appletviewer -debug option, here is the output:
run sun.applet.Main MainFrameApplet.java
Set uncaught java.lang.Throwable
Set deferred uncaught java.lang.Throwable
>
VM Started:
The application exited
Any ideas about this issue?
Thanks.

You could try to put everything in the init method into a try/catch block to see what the exception is that is being thrown?

What does this have to do with the plug-in? It seems that your question is about appletviewer.
