Hi Ranchers,
Thank you for your valuable tips/suggestions :-)
I cleared the SCJP with 83% yesterday, after 15 days of preparation and weekend+monday of strenous efforts. I dont come from Java background -just pure academic knowledge..so was a l'il tough :-)

I gave it at Saki Vikar Prometric Center, Mumbai.Just wanted to pass on one suggesstion...I was originally supposed to give the exam at Ghatkopar Center- on Tuesday. When I reached the exam center, I was informed that their servers had crashed and hence my exam could not be conducted there. I would thereby suggest- call your centers one day prior to the exam and confirm. It saves a lot of trouble...as at the last moment I had to run to Saki-Vihar and also they were booked. So instead of 9.30 am exam I ended up giving it at 13:48.

I referred to Kathy Sierra/Bert Bates (excellent: *Really* appreciate the humour, folks :-) ) and occassionally to Khalid Mughal. ( he does Inner Classes really well..I am tempted to say inside out :-)) )
I gave the three Marcus Green tests (thanks!!) and Dan C (great tests there too!)

The actual test was quite simple, I could have done better if I was slightly less harassed. But I am still quite pleased with myself.

All the best to prospective SCJP-ers (ites??).
