I'm a newbie to JBuiler 9 and only have student experience with JAVA.
I am trying to resize the applet. I have found the resize() and have
put that within my contructor and also in my init() methods but the
applet does not resize to a larger size.
I also have issued the repaint() method but it doesn't seem to do anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Please send help.
Thanks,
Melanie.

Hi Melanie, are you trying to resize the window in HTML or just the size in Jbuilder? Because when you create the applet in JB you will be presented with a dialog box that asks you what size you want the applet to be. You can also align the applet, I always type in "middle" for alignment, but the default "Top" is fine. Other than that thats all there is. The applet that it creates is going to be much smaller that the one the html creates. This is what the wizard defines. The applet that you run is just a sample of what you will see on the html file. Once complete, you just copy the applet (the .class file) and the html file from your project directory, up to a web server and make the .class file executable. You will then see a size increase.

Hi there,
I see what you are talking about.
Yes, when you create the applet it asks for the size. I created one
with size of 900 by 900 but it looks like the same size as before.
I see the HTML and the width and height in there.
I also changed it within the HTML but it doesn't really change the size
of the applet. I wanted to make it bigger to display an image within the applet.
So is there a way to make it larger?
