Hai,
Is it possible to add a component(say JButton) on an applet's status bar?
If yes, how?

Thanks.

hello shabber,
I tried to do what u are asking as the methos showStatus(String a) which takes this sting parameter ,so you cannot add button on the status of applet as it takes string parameter.
Thanks

Hai kaur,
I know well that we can not add a component on the status using the showStatus(String xx) method. What I was asking exactly was not about adding component using showStatus() method. I had seen some applets with buttons and animations, which appears to be on the status bar. I was wondering whether they are adding the components on the status bar or on some panels, which is been placed at the bottom of the applet so that it appears to be the status bar.
Hope it is clear now.

Thanks..
