I cannot find a way to do this from within an applet.
The following url is used to call the applet:
http://localhost:80/MapApplet.html?name=value
I know that I can get the query portion using JavaScript and passing it into the applet. But I cannot find a way to access the query portion from the applet. When calling getDocumentBase() I get http://localhost:80/MapApplet.html (which I expected).
Any ideas? Am I being obtuse and its "really easy"?
Thanks
Bob

I just found a discussion from last year - not possible directly (from a post in 2003).
I'll go the javascript route.
Thanks
