It is said that applet is downloaded to client comptuer to run.
In my case, I use applet and URL to read data file one by one from the web server( my applet and data files are stored on the same web server), then on client PC, the data are dispalyed. If each data file is 90KB, there are 18 data files in each hour. So if the client wants to display the data file for 16 housrs, does it mean that the client will totally download 28MB traffic load? If so, is there a way to avoid that? I don't want to increase web visitor's download traffic to much.
Thanks for any suggestion.
