Hi,
How can I get rid of Status bar at the bottom of an applet?
I dont' wana see word "Java Applet Started". I have called
JFrame.setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated(true);
Everything is fine, but the unwanted status bar at the bottom.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards

guif.setVisible(false);

You can't get rid of it. I'm closing this duplicate post because your other thread here has more valuable answers to the same question.
