I've got a web application where I allow customers to customize the appearance of their forms and pages (move fields around, changes labels, etc.). Until now, changing forms has been mostly a manual process. I'm looking for a Java applet or Javascript library that gives a "drag-and-drop" type interface for form customization--something akin to the Visual Studio look and feel. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks!

Well, what you are looking for is an IDE (integrated developement environment). There are several IDEs available. I use JBuilder. Its been developed by Borland. This IDE is used for Java Applets/Applications etc. Try it, its good, but still, sometimes i like the conventional way of writing out the entire code...

Hello.

That sounds extremely interesting. I am searching for exactly the same solution at the momemnt. I want to have customizable web and dynamic forms. The customer should have the chance to adapt his forms.
Is there a open source framework or does anybody have an idea how to get the mentioned possibilties.
Would be greate to get tips and hints.
Thank you very much!
Wolfgang
