Appletviewer without DOS-Window

Hi,
I don't know if this is right in here, please move this thread if it is not.
I'm using appletviewer to run an applet. When I run any applet via appletviewer, this DOS window pops up and closes only if the applet itself is closed. How do I get rid of this DOS window?

You can't. Appletviewer is only intended for the testing of applets. If you don't want a prompt you will have to convert your applet to an application and use javaw.

Or just use your browser to test applets.
