I have written applet and embedded it into my web page. As I know, browser which wish to view the applet is required to installed with JRE. My question is, is it possible make the JRE installed into client browser automacatically without user's intervention?

Probably not. Any browser which allowed software to be installed without user interaction (I'm looking at you, Internet Explorer) would be derided as a security risk.

hi Joe,
it's not neccessary fully auto install, what i wish to achieve is as long as when user accesses to the website, a dialog will be prompted to request user to download JRE. Perhaps i can put the JRE in my web server and user can download. Once downloaded, the installation program will run automactically, is it possible?
