Hello all,

I have an Applet in browser which does some extensive server side processing and results has to be displayed to the user. This sometimes takes time. What users do is make changes in the Applet and immediately click 'X' (IE window close). This causes the JVM to hang and other related problems.

How do I NOT allow the user to close the IE window after a call to save done?

Is there an example to show a wait message to the user and block the actions until it is done?

I am sure there is a way, but need your direction

Thank you in advance
