Hello everybody,
I've decided to post a message here as part of my job search. My name is Nathaniel Stoddard; I'm looking for a junior software development position.
I have a CS degree, but very little experience. Most of it, as well as my knowledge, is Internet related. Although, I am also familiar with GUI frameworks like MFC and Swing. As you can see by my signature, I possess the following certifications:
  • SCJP
  • SCJD

  • Briefly, my skills can be summarized into the following categories:
  • Software Engineering: UML, Rational Rose, Requisite Pro, Borland Together
  • Languages: Java, C++, Perl
  • Internet: JSP, Servlets, Struts, HTML, CSS
  • Other: XML, XSLT, EJB

  • You may call me 24-hours a day to get more information regarding the value I can bring to your company as an addition to your staff. Before doing so, you'll probably want to download one or both of these:
  • Resume: [DOC] [PDF]
  • Skills Matrix: [XLS] [PDF]

  • A few miscellaneous points:
  • I will relocate anywhere in the world.
  • I will incur relocation costs myself if it is in the US.
  • I only speak English.
  • I am presently located near San Jose, California.
  • I can start immediately.

  • Thank you for you time.

** Not a hiring manager but think you'd like to see me at your water cooler? No problem. Feel free to pass around my resume.

Although not currently hiring, ( nor would you want to come to Northern Ontario for Southern Cali! ) I just wanted to tell you that I would consider you based on this post. It is well laid out, well thought out, time was put into it. 90% of posts in this forum section aren't worth reading because no time or effort was put in, so it is nice to see one of these every once in a while!
Good luck in your future endeavors, and keep up the hard work.
He got surgery to replace his foot with a pig. He said it was because of this tiny ad:
Java file APIs (DOC, XLS, PDF, and many more)
