Hello!

I need to create some kind of 'online' UNIX screen capability that will help me manage the submital of a bunch of shell scripts containing java utilities, ie load a screen with a list of file names, and script names in a particular directory and then allow me to submit those selected items!

Can an APPLET be used for this kind of utility?

Thanks much

Probably not a good idea. Applets run with a number of security restrictions to protect web browsers from malicious code. What you probably want to do is Create a GUI using Swing.
