Hello,

I know that the contents inside web-inf are not visible to the client. Even tough, I have a web app that launches an applet app. I would like to know if there is any way to put the applets jar inside WEB-INF/lib and the web app be still able to find the applets classes.

I have read something about using the ServletContexts getResource() method, but I dont know how it would work since when the user calls my jsp with the applet tags embbed, the applet main class will be called.

Thanks

I think you answered your question. Your web application does not "launch" an applet, it points the browser to a web page which has an applet embedded in it. Obviously the web page and applet must be somewhere that is visible to the client.
