This thread is for making general comments and observations about Mock exams.

I have been taking the Dan Chisholm mocks recently.

They are pretty tough, but good. To do well, you need to know almost everything.

Some questions for the "mockers":

What mocks exams have you been taking?

Are they hard, easy, well written, quality software?

How are you scores?

I'm learning for SCJP 1.4.

So far, I have taken the following mocks: MasterExam, Marcus Green, Voodoo, Whizlab Demo, Sun Demo, Dan Chisholm, Tests in the Sierra/Bates book (SCJP & SCJD Study Guide).

I didn't buy Whizlabs. I don't want to spend money when there are so many free mocks.

My scores vary depending on the mocks:

MasterExam (2 exams): 90%
Marcus Green: 90%
Voodoo Mocks: 85%
Dan Chisholm Exams: 85%, depends on topic, I got destroyed on "Wrappers", very hard exam
Whizlab Demo: 55% (ran out of time)
Sun Demo: 90%
Sierra/Bates from book: 93%

Don't be shy...let's here about your mock experiences!!

I'll have to say that the Whizlabs and JQ++ mock exams are sufficient. They contain around 13 mocks each, all of which are well done. I haven't tried the free ones though, with the exception of Voodoo.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
