In the JRE/plug-in 1.5/5.0 is there any way to configure the certificate management to remember that a user has allowed the client certificate to be sent to the server and not ask the user each time the server requests the client certificate?

I am using Weblogic 8.1 with the security setup as "client certificates requested but not enforced". Ideally, I would like the JRE to prompt the user for a certificate to send and then remember the selection so that the user does not need to continually click on the certificate.

Thanks in advanced,
