I have a problem while downloading an applet through HTTPS. There is an html page which contains a link to an applet. When I clicks on it, it starts downloading applet jar file. Then I am gettinng an error, in java plug-in console.

when I press OK button in the console, a ClassNotFound Exception is shown in the browser window. I am not able to view the applet.
Anybody has any idea abt this? Do I need to change any settings in my browser
