Hi

I am using a mapping application using esri maps. When the map applet loads there is a button that should be enabled or disabled based on user option. This thing works fine in fire fox but not in internet explorer. Internet explorer will always show the button enabled. Any ideas?
Thanks

Is this an Applet from ESRI (so that you can contact their support), or one of your own (to which you have the source)?

Which JVM are you using, Sun or MS?

In that case, what happens when you disable the button - it just stays enabled, with no error messages? What does isEnabled() return after you call setEnabled(false) ?

Well we are disabling the button through based on the database value. We have an applet and a jsp. this button is part of jsp. in javascript code it suppose to get disabled but then it gets enabled again from some java code. I dont know where. So I'll post the solution as soon as I am able to solve it.
Thanks
Imad
