Seeking a job in NYC metro area, SCJP 98%, have been programming for 3 years

Good day,
I have recently passed the SCJP test with a 98% (yeah a trick question on garbage collection got me ). I am a very good C++ and Java programmer. I think I am slightly better in C++ than Java but I took the SCJP test because I don�t know of any C++ certifications that are close as prominent and respected as the SCJP. I am seeking a job in the New York City metro area. I am a recent college grad, however I have been programming for 3 years.
