Hi,

I have seen some questions on Whizlabs and elsewhere mention questions
regarding comparisons with Double.NaN etc

I havent come across a topic on NaN in the K&B book and was wondering is it
on the exam?

Thanks
Dave

Yes NaN does mean Not a Number and I have not heard of it coming up on the exam.

Hi,

If you look at the study guide for 1.4 that Anand Bheemarajaiah has created
on the first link of this page

http://www.geocities.com/sunjava4u/guide.html or
(Direct Link) http://www.geocities.com/sunjava4u/javaCertStudyNotes.doc

and on page 24 and 25 his notes discuss NaN.This wouldnt have bothered me as I would have thought it was for the 1.4 exam and im studying for the 1.5 but it came up again on the 1.5 Whizlabs simulator!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
