I have an applet using logging like:

System.out.println("abcd ....");

How do I enable logging in Firefox?

Does the Java console pop up with the applet System.outs?

On Windows you can open the console from the little Java icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. On OS X, it goes to the System.log file, which can be viewed by Console.app. I'm not sure what Unix does.
