I compiled a class in NetBeans, and tried to put it to run in a .html, but it is not working. Can someone put a html file that will run an application(not a n applet)? I am using netbeans. I get this error when I try to put it in a html:

however I have the latest java runtime?

Could someone a post a template or something that can handle .class files made from netbeans?

Thanks!!

What led you to believe that this was possible? To run a Java program in the browser on the client, it needs to be an applet.

Moved to the Applets forum for further discussion.

If rather, you are expecting server-side execution, please ask a moderator to move the post to the JSP forum.

Is your application a Web Start (i.e., JNLP) application? That's the only way to run an applictaion from a web page, if for some reason you don't want it to be an applet (why not?).

It's not clear what you are trying to accomplish by placing your class in an HTML page. Please elaborate.
