Hi everyone!

I'm thinking to take the SCJP but am not sure on how to prepare it well. I'm good in java but i haven't done much experiments with the language yet. It's just 2 months back I had taken up the subject. 1stly I studied from Head First Java for all the basics & proper understanding of the language & now am preparing from Khalid Mughal for the exam.

But still somehow I feel it's not enough for me to pass the exam. Also, I'm confused as to what version of exam should I take, 1.4 or 1.5, as Head First Java was based on 1.5 but Khalid Mughal is based on 1.4.

Moreover, I dont have much of a material for the SCJP I mean I'm just dependant on Khalid Mughal right now & dont know what other books I should read.

Please guide me.

Khalid Mughal's certification book is more than enough.

For more concepts you can refer www.danchisholm.net and write some mock exams.

And offcourse code as much as you can so that you wont cram the subject and instead understand why such things happen.
