Hi all,

There is an offer going by Sun Microsystems to retake the exam, just in case if you cannot pass in first time. But the exam's voucher needs to be purchased by 30th september. I have doubts that if I buy the voucher now can i book the exam till late November or early december, as I think I would be ready to take the exam by that time. Could anyone please suggest me on that.

Thanks!!

Hi Namit,

You can always reschedule your exam if you feel that you need more time for your revision.

Read the terms of the offer one more time. You only have to buy the voucher by the end of September. You have one year to schedule and take the exam (and the retake if you fail the first time).

Hi all,

I have asked about this at SQL Star (Begumpet,Hyderabad,India) and they say the retake option is not available in India. So guys make sure if it is available in India or in your country before you buy the voucher.

Bye & Regards,
Praveen

For exam center you can check it at:

http://prometric.com/default.htm

you can give exam in half hour after buying voucher but you have to check exam center is not registered for that time..

You buy the voucher through Sun, at http://www.sun.com/training/certification/ (Requires free registration to enter, I think.) Once you purchase your voucher, you can set up an appointment to take the exam at your nearest Prometric testing center.

If you want to take advantage of the free-retake-if-you-fail promotion, see the rules at http://www.sun.com/training/savings/retake.xml
But read the fine print carefully to make sure it is available in your country.
