File System Access Using Applets from FireFox

Hi,

I am using an applet that accesses file system. Now, i am able to access the file system using internet explorer but i am unable to access the file system using mozilla firefox & Apple Safari Browsers.

What does "unable to access" mean? Are there any error messages? If so, which ones?

Assuming you're talking about the client-side file system, is the applet signed, or did you alter the local security policy?
