I WANT TO RUN JAVA APPLET FROM DOS CMD PROMT....BUT ALTHOUGH I SAVE MY PRGRAM WITH .JAVA AND .HTML EXTENSION IN BIN FOLDER....BUT I COULD NOT ABLE TO SEE APPLET....THOUGH I COMPILE IT EIITH JAVAC AND THEN APPLETVIEWER.....AND ITS ALSO SHOWING NO ERROR.....AFTER WRITING APPLET VIEWER I GET ">" SAME AS WHEN WE WRITE JAVAC AND GETS NO ERROR....PLEASE HELP ME OUT??

First of all, please KeepItDown. Posting in all uppercase makes your post unnecessarily hard to read. Also UseAMeaningfulSubjectLine; a title of "APPLET" in the Applets forum is not helpful.

AFTER WRITING APPLET VIEWER I GET ">"

I don't understand this. What do you mean by "write", and where is the ">" appearing? You start appletviewer by passing the name of the HTML file, like "appletviewer applet.html". What exactly happens if you do that?
