myself and my friend have completed SCJP and SCWCD with very good percentages.we dont have any work experience and we are ready to take up even a small job for gaining experience.

Well, while you're looking for a job or whatnot, there's always open source projects that are looking for developers to help them out. Don't have to have a job to get experience that shows capability with the skills, as I keep telling my wife...

Another option.

Why don't you and ur friend try building an information portal and make it live? Have features like registration, session management, etc. You will learn a lot and can also put it in your CV.
