Hi,

I got a SCJP back in 2001. I lost all the info except the big diploma that came with the certification. I don't even know what email address that I gave at the time of the exam. Where can I recover this information or is all that lost?

If you can remember the user name for your sun ccert login page that should do good. You can then click on "Forgot password" and then answer your secret question. Provided you remember the answer of course

Thanks for the reply John.

I registerd and took the test at a Prometric testing center in London. I just managed to log into the Prometric site a few minutes ago and I was elated.....but then it showed that I have no exam history with Prometric!!! What??!!! Do they erase all certification information after 5 years??

Older exam results will not show on the Prometric site, but can be seen from Sun's certification site.

After logging into Prometric, note your candidate id (usually SPxxxxxxx). Then see if you can log into the Sun site at https://i7lp.integral7.com/sun using that id.

Otherwise you may need to go in person to a Prometric center and have them retrieve your test info (I'd call them ahead of time.)

I think you can publish your certification information to a specific email ID from the sun cert site. That should be proof enough.

Ade, I took your advice, I found my Canidate ID at prometric even though the exam results had disappeared, but I could log onto Sun and see and publish my results.

Thanks to both of you. I would be retaking the exam if it weren't for you.

Message for you sir! I think it is a tiny ad:
