Hi everyone.

I'm taking SCJP 5.0 exam 'this' wednesday. I've read K&B book and took alot of mock exams. Any last advice before exam. How is it in there? Did you have enough time to answer all the questions, the ones who took the exam? How long you've wait till the results?

The best thing to do is to browse our Sun Certification Results forum. There are a lot of tips there from people who have passed both SCJP 1.4 and 5.0.

In real exam take care of Threads questions they are bit tough to solve.
Also try to solve D&D questions quickly.D&D questions are easy to solve but
it takes some time to understand there solving pattern.
First try to sove all non D&D questions and then in 2nd round solve all D&D questions.

Best Of Luck.

Threads and GC were tuff for me.

Even tho I think that I understand the concepts pretty well, the questions were tricky.

If you are scoring well with the master exams that comes with Bert & Kathy's book and if you understand all of the 2 minute drill stuff then you should pass easy.

The mock exams in Marcus Green's book are also excellant.

Some of the questions are pretty tricky... most say that time is not a factor, but it was for me.... so keep moving... you have 2 mins per question and some of the questions take more than 2 mins to figure out what they are really asking for.

Again... Threads and Garbage Collection are probably what most folks have the most trouble with... but if you know the other stuff well, then you can bone those and still pass the exam.

Drink water... your brain functions better when properly hydrated!
After you ace the thing then keep the brain hydrated... but with more adult beverages

Good luck to yas!
