I'm a big fan of JavaRanch, because it's not filled with arrogant know-it-alls who give up their precious knowledge begrudgingly. With that in mind, my job requires that I work with both Java and C# (among other things), and I was wondering if anyone has come across anything like JavaRanch in the C# world (i.e., a place where you don't have to be afraid to ask stupid questions).

Thanks!

You're not afraid to ask stupid questions here? Man, are we doing something wrong. Just kidding.

There is nothing like Javaranch anywhere else on the planet. I have had pretty good success at gotdotnet.com though.

Thanks Gregg! I'll have to check that out. I wonder if it's possible that JavaRanch has ruined me for all other forums?

It's possible. There have been talks of generalizing Javaranch to something like CodeRanch in the past. I think Paul (site owner) actually owns the domain CSharpRanch. I think we are just worried about ruining a good thing and stretching our services too thin. Maybe if more people started requesting something like that...We just haven't seen a demand.

It's certainly true for me. But who cares - I wouldn't have time for them, anyways!
